Experience the nature and human wisdom of Nishi-Izu

There are many places around Guesthouse Simone that offer specialized activities such as fishing boats, diving snorkeling, sea kayaking, and sipping. We will be happy to show you around if you wish. Our activities are designed for children and beginners to "play" in nature as an introduction to more serious activities. We offer snorkeling at safe beaches, fishing from the shore, cooking and eating fish, beachcombing and then making crafts. Anyone can participate.

Snorkeling

Required Time:120 min.　Experience Fee:4,000 yen
We will give a lecture on how to use a snorkel for beginners at a beach in Nishi Izu with high transparency, so why don't you join us and take a look into the beautiful ocean.In summer, a lifeguard is stationed at the beach, where there is a small island offshore and the waves are quiet.

Beachcombing & Crafts

Required Time:120 min.　Experience Fee:4,400 yen
First, we will take a walk along the lapping waves of Ohama Beach, a 3-minute walk away, looking for shells, sea glass, driftwood, stones, pottery, plastic trash, and other interesting drifting objects.Afterwards, we will help each participant to make accessories, objets d'art, or other artworks of his/her choice using the found items. Why not make your own memento of your trip to take home!

Fishing & Cooking

Required Time:120 min.　Experience Fee:4,400 yen
We will guide you to suitable fishing spots depending on the participants and the season.If you catch a fish, we will take it back to the inn to process and cook it for you to try. If you don't catch any fish, please consult with us. You can also buy fish at a nearby supermarket and have them processed and cooked.
